Learning Forum
We have a School Learning Forum that meets regularly to discuss, plan and contribute to all sorts of things that help the children to learn well at St Mary's. Every class is represented by elected members on the School Learning Forum and the representatives take ideas back to their classes for further discussion and contributions. The Headeacher, Mrs Denham-Hale, works with the School Learning Forum, but other teachers also attend meetings to work with the children on specific subjects and areas of learning.
Recently the School Learning Forum has contributed to a review of the school's vision and values. The children gathered contributions from the whole school and these ideas and perceptions were then incorporated into the work of the staff and governing body. The new vision and values are still being developed and we are confident that they will reflect our whole school community accurately.
