Arriving at school

The gates open at 8.30am and the children are welcome to enter their classrooms between 8.30 and 8.40am.

The start of the day

The bell rings at 8.40am and the children should be in the classroom and ready to start learning.

Breaktimes

Early Years/Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2 children have breaktimes in both the morning and the afternoon. Fruit and vegetables are provided each day for these children to enjoy at morning breaktime. Years 3-6 children have one breaktime in the morning and they may bring in their own healthy snack of fruit or vegetables to enjoy. The school works in partnership with Cool Milk to provide milk for the children at morning breaktimes. Leaflets are available from the school office. 

Lunchtime

All children have an hour for lunch. The start of lunchtime is 11.50am for Early Years/Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2 classes and slightly later at 12.05pm for Years 3-6.

Hometime

The school day ends at 3.10pm. The teachers dismiss the children from their own classrooms.
